Could be Lyme-related. Have you tried an epsom salt soak in warm (not too hot) water? It may help if there is nerve and/or muscle pain.
I've had leg pains for years. It mimics Sciatica, but the focus of the pain wanders between joints (hips, knees, ankles, even into my feet abd/or lower back sometimes). And it usually will start on one side or another, or on both sides & settle on one side, then switch to the other side the next day. It is a radiating, deep achy, sore feeling that can't be pinpointed to nerve, muscle or joint - it is all-inclusive. Heat usually helps mine, but I also get really sensitive to touch sometimes too.
