I had it years ago and think I have it again. My stomach and legs have been hurting pretty bad and that's what it did the last time I had it. When I went for my yearly check with my gyno, she noticed that my uterus was inflammed. I hate even thinking about having to go back in again to get checked. I've been taking something for inflammation but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Any ideas on what I can do for now until I make an appointment? Anyone know what causes this?

CG: How could your GYN doc know that your uterus was inflammed, did you have an ultrasound done? I have alot of pelvic pain and even had a biopsy done. Ultrasound showed "pelvic congestion" which is lack of blood supply to the area which causes pain. I am just blaming the LD, no other explaination for it... Take care~ D

I had PID. It was bacterial. I never knew how I got the infection. I was hospitalized and received IV antibiotics for three days, but it returned off and on until I finally ended up with a hysterectomy.
