So many of you have asked about natural products for nasal congestion so I wanted to post about what I started using. I've been having a lot of trouble with congestion to the point of getting very bad headaches. The lady that supplies my supplements gave me something to try and OH My really works! I started getting that feeling of getting a headache so I tried the nasal spray and it really helped. I'm not congested anymore and that "feeling of getting a headache" is gone. It's called Sinus Rescue and it's made by Peaceful Mountain. I don't know how much it is because I was given it free to try. You can use it every 15 minutes as needed. The ingredients are elemental silver and de-ionized water.

P.S.- I just found the website addy on the back of the bottle if anyone is interested:

The name has been changed to Nasal Rescue.

Hope this helps:)

Yeah - this sinus rescue product works wonders for my nose, too. I have the steroid spray and that used to be enough until this past year. When my doctor recommended doing a nasal rinse with colloidal silver, I went to the health food store to look for options and discovered the Sinus Rescue product. It works fantastic! (I have no financial interest in this product or the company that makes it)

this sounds great and I'm going to give it a try. I use the netti pot daily and have been using Astelin and Nasonex for about 2 years. My accupuncturist wanted me to stop those and try Aller Chord II which are herbal oral drops taken 3 times daily. They didn't help though, so I went back on the others.

thanx for sharing what products work for you. The netti pot really helps with the dry nose and is really helpful after you have to dust the house or do yard work that you really shouldn't be doing in the first place cause of allergies.

continued prayers for healing answers soon,

The only thing I've noticed that I don't like about it is that it burns just a little when I first spray it in my nose. It's worth it though because it clears the congestion up real fast. I've been clear now since I posted this.

Razzle: I'm glad you use this too. It really works.

Btw, I went back and read my post and it sounds like a spammers post, lol. Sorry about that everyone. It was early in the morning when I typed that out and I really wanted to share my experience.

I'm with Tickedoff and LupnerRN, although I don't use the neti pot, I use the squeeze bottle (same thing, just slightly different method) - twice daily for year-round allergies. Can't believe how much this helps. For anyone who's interested, just search nasal rinse or lavage - sounds weird, but once you experience some relief you become a believer - and it's cheap too!

Mother Nature's child & All,

I just wanted to share something that I just read at NaturalNews it was an article about Dr. Batmanghelidj and his book "Your Body's Many Cries for Water".  I was very interested in what was in the article and tried increasing my water, (not just liquids) intake.  This alone has made a huge difference in being able to sleep.  I am up peeing alot, but I was doing that anyway.  It had gotten so bad that it felt like someone had stuffed my nose with cotton and I would wake up because of it.  I order the book, but haven't had a chance to start reading it yet.  Read the article for yourself and try it to see if it helps.  Take Care, KO

01 Tingling in fingers/toes both sides, not tested at that time for LD
07 Summer pos. WB, diag with LD, neg for co-infections thru Igenex
Abx - Doxy 100mg 2x/day for 3 weeks (before diagnosis)
Amoxicillin 1gm 2x/day for 1 month
Amoxicillin 1gm 3x/day with Probenecid 500mg 2x/day  5 months
Dr. Zhang's protocol stopped after 6 months symptoms returned.  Started Buhner's protocol May 2009

Well, I started feeling like I was getting a headache again and used the sinus rescue(nasal rescue) and it helped. Stopped the pressure and headache feeling and I can breathe again. I wish I had had this stuff years ago.
