Sounds like a variation of Bell's Palsy, which is a known Lyme symptom. I've had trouble with drooling for a long time, not sure if it is Lyme or something else. But I don't get the difficulty talking/pronouncing specific words. I also have difficulty swallowing, again thought to be due to a combination of Lyme & Bartonella.
Make sure you are getting enough Vitamin B12 - that is one vitamin that a deficiency of can lead to strange neurological symptoms.
