Went to dr. today and explained still having numerous symptoms after 8 months of amox and doxy (not at same time).  New labs came bak with 3 bands which he said is a positive test, surprisingly.  he said he would like to put me on IV but doesn't think insurance company will pay because I do not have a definite positive lab and haven't tried all other options.  SO now he has me on zithromax for a month.  he also said to switch from xanax to lexapro because he thinks it is the lyme rage rather than anxiety and lexapro may help with other symptoms as well.

Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with either or both of these drugs.  I'm willing to try anything but can'tdeny I am scared.

I was on Lexapro for two years before I realized I actually had Lyme disease. I would wake up feeling angry and hated the world for no reason at all. I'm assumng it was from the Bartonella that I have. It did help though and also helped with my panic/anxiety attacks.
