I've been seeing him for 2.5 years and I'm not getting better. I'm wondering whether to change doctors or stay the course. Does anyone have success stories to share about this doctor?

I have a success story but with a different doctor. I am cured of lyme by a naturopath in Connecticutt. My nightmare with this disease lasted 5 years before finding her. I was 3 more years on a lyme nosode plus other remedies till 2006 when I felt completely healed. If you want more info please respond.

I thought I would post my story of how I got cured of Lyme Disease for those people who have chronic lyme and are losing hope. .. To let you know that one CAN get cured of chronic lyme. My ordeal lasted 8 years. I call it the nightmare of my life that started in the summer of 1998. I was not diagnosed till 2000 and then put on antibiotics. For two years I tried a different kind of antibiotic every 3-6 months hoping to get cured to no avail. The next step was to take intravenous antibiotics but my immune system was so weak by then, just the thought of it, I thought I'd die from the treatment.  I found an alternative MD who taught me how to build my immune system. He sent me to a holistic dentist and I  had all the mercury filling removed from my mouth. I then went on a raw food (VEgan) diet under my alternative doctors supervision and also had a few colonics. After six months, he told me he had done all he can to help me but I needed to see an alternative doctor who was more literate in treating Lyme patients. I went on a search and found a naturopath in Connecticutt. She was a 2 and 1/2 hour drive from my house, but I had a friend drive me up there from New York for I was in such bad shape I was afraid to drive. To make a long story short, I began the Lyme Nosode plus other naturopathic remedies and gradually got stronger till in 2006 I was symptom free and cured.  I remain on a 85% raw diet and have been cured since. My belief in God kept my faith that I someday would be healed. I work full time as a teacher and pianist and have lots of energy at the age of 59.
