One of the things bugging me lately is the fact that there seems to be a lack of action by NIH, the CDC, and various health departments/organizations.  The increasing rate of estimated Lyme disease cases is quite staggering.  If HIV, hepatitis, or any other disease was increase at this rate major initiatives would be put in place to combat the problem.  Yet there is essential no changes taking place in terms of public awareness, doctor education, and research funding.  It's extremely disappointing.
Public service announcements about the seriousness of this illness and education on proper prevention and tick removal may have prevented many of us from acquiring the illness.  I don't think it's too much ask.
Sorry for the rant.

Oh no...that is not ranting at all.
Get excited and is good for you. Don't except defeat and get comfortable with deception ever.
Our family all got lyme in 2004. It has been a long battle. But all is well now with my children. Feb 8 TH of 2009 is when I left Envita. And I am celebrating a year of perfect health.

The biggest problem is the testing........most people test negative to this sickness. If the people who are getting sick from it are positive then the numbers would show how bad this disease really is.
