does anyone know about hypothalamus pituitary disfunction??

You mean malfunction of the Hypthalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal axis? Yes, this is strongly implicated as being "off" in those with autoimmune disorders (and I also think Lyme messes this up as well) and rebalancing of all 3 glands are usually required to correct the problem. Of course, diet modification (avoid food allergies, etc.) and exercise are usually needed as well.
