I could use some resource information.  My 15 year old daughter was diagnosed with LD over 5 years ago.  In the past year, she has shown signs of the disease being active, yet the 3 blood tests we took showed negative to LD.  I have been told even a blood test showing negative does not mean that the disease is not active.  Her more recent showns are fatique, muscle and joint aches; low energy and headaches.  All LD symptoms.  I heard that there is a very comprehensive, albeit large book on LD that is very definitive in its information and written by an MD in the east.  If you know of this book I would very much appreciate any information.  Also, if you or someone you know of tested negative yet still had symptoms and you took specific action and received positive results, I would love to know that information as well.  Thank you

I have never tested positive for lyme, despite having a clinical diagnosis after four years of fighting with drs. I had all those symptoms and more. Some symptoms have subsided, some still here after 10 months of antiobiotics. Make sure you get her tested through Igenex for lyme and co-infections. very important as it could be the co-infections that are giving her symptoms and they are all treated differently. Please do not wait it out, get help now, it will only get worse and harder to treat.

Mine is a clinical diagnosis also. One positive and 2 indeterminate lyme specific bands on the Western Blot, (2 negative Elisa tests) and I was told that is considered positive when you add in my symptoms and lack of anything else being diagnosed despited many, many tests over 4 years time. I hope you get answers soon.
