Well the winter has been cruel to me. I've get fevers every night, between 99.0 and 100. Over the past several weeks after my chelation treatments for mercury(im literally off the charts), ive run 102 fevers the day after, 101 on the next day, 100 the day after until normal and then night fevers resume. I feel like im constantly battling a head cold where i have fluid in my ears, headaches, extreme fatigue, and just a general sick feeling. every so often ill have a day or two where im normal, but i go months without them.
Over the past 4 weeks, ive started the salt/C protocol in conjunction. Since then, my fevers have been a little higher at night..in the past 2 months prior i generally had 99.2(made me feel sick however, could always feel the chills, etc), to 99.5 -100 average. Ive been much more depressed(probably because im a person who in the past was always out...now i crawl to work, and come home and do nothing. My body went from very muscular and is now just losing tone and weight), I get bad headaches, plus those cold symptoms.
When i started chelation and some vitamin, diet changes with a new amazing doctor, etc, he ran my cd-57(december) and it was 22. I was also in conjunction seeing my original llmd. I got a new cd-57 4 weeks ago and it was 11. I decided to dump my llmd and go with this guy who is also in hte ILADS and he treats every condition under the sun from GI(i have colitis/chrons also) to cancer, autism, lyme, heavy metals, etc etc. I start seeing him to treat my lyme on monday.
My question(finally) :).
Ive been sick all winter wondering if they are herx reactions or just me getting sicker. The cd-57 seems to indicate getting sicker. People who use cd-57 as indicators, have you noticed during extreme herxes that your cd-57 would lower even though you felt sicker? What about other test results that may indicate lyme loads? Or should they be improving? Or maybe no one knows :). Does anyone have higher fevers than usual with the herxes? And who knows how accurate the cd57 is anyway.
My gut is im getting worse. I am barely functional most days. Hoping the doc whos gonna treat me now can get me functional. Anyone in NJ probably knows of him. Anyone i tell that has heard of him say nothing but rave. Central jersey.
I detox by using epson salt baths 1-2 times per day. Suprisingly, my joint pain has been gone since beginning of december. Thats a miracle in of itself. and my head has cleared up to the point where im almost real smart like i used to be again. But thats about it. :(
Sorry for rambling!
