I've been doing alot of research about fat soluable toxins ( which is what lyme, fungal toxins are) and apparently an effective way to get rid of them and energize your immune system is to juice/ eat raw foods...  Has anyone tried this??? Can you share your experience with me??

Hi Joanne,

I used to juice (those drinks make me feel great!) and then I switched to blending greens and making myself those green drinks (also felt great from them).   Since I am dieting I am eating greens (lost 20 pounds!).   I don't eat many raw foods because it's too expensive..   Many people I know love the raw food diet and feel great..  I happen to love beef too much even though I know it's not good for me...

Try it and see how you feel!  And let us know how it works out.

Good luck!
Denise

I juice mostly green veggies, occasionally adding a granny smith apple. The biggest help for me was juicing cabbage and ginger every morning while on abx. They are healing to the stomach/intestines and I believe really kept me ok. If you use ginger, only juice a small piece, like 1" or less. It's very powerful.

In the evening I may juice up kale, ginger, parsley, cabbage, carrot, celery. Sometimes I'll add a clove of garlic, but it makes for a really potent drink. Really, whatever you have around can go in. Hubby credits this drink for keeping him cold/flu-free all winter.

I've been lazy lately and need to get back to it.

Hi again,

I meant to add that diet plays a huge role in getting better but diet alone is not going to strengthen one's immune system..  I think one will get better results by detoxing along with diet..  And to take a good look at all medicines (conventional, alternative) and research those to see if they are weakening your immune system..

Bottom line:  Strengthen the immune system to the point of being so strong, your own body will naturally kill lyme bacteria..

Stress also plays a huge role in this disease as well as any disease..  So that must be addressed as well..
