Our lyme docs (llmd and naturopaths) use some of the Cowden protocol sometimes. Personally, we did not do the exact protocol because our docs "design" their own program for each patient individually. All I can tell you is that the products can certainly cause herxes and have the potential to do some good----or make you feel lousy. Like anything else in lyme treatment, we all seem to react differently and it's always a "trial and error" risk. Since we have been trying to treat this group of infections for several years, I can't say we've found the "magic bullet". I wish we had the answers!
