about a year ago, I got a rash on my forehead. It is a raised circular rash about the  diameter of a dime with a redish boarder and small white puslike, granular insides (nice huh!). At first I thought it was adult acne (never had acne in my life) and it would improve with topical otc creams. It would wax and wane but now is out of control! It is painful and now all over my face and moving in my mouth and eyes.  It is also on my legs, arms and back. I have been treated by the dermatologist for about 3 months with no improvement. She has tried topical antibacterial and fungal ointments and also oral meds (both antifungal and antibiotics). She also cultured it and said it came back negative! Last week the dermotologist said she and her partner discussed my case and said since they had not encountered anything like it that it must be Lyme related and that I should see my LLMD.

I saw my LLMD today and he said it may be Bart related and prescribed a combo of meds.  I agree and feel like it must be more fungal  in nature.

Anyone have any ideas?  I had a terrrible time with oral thrush (my LLMD doc saw mild thrush today).  I have had boatloads of probiotics and my CD57 (immune function has always been very low 37 the last check).

I hate this nasty disease!

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Any info would be much appreciated!

You might want to try a Google image search to see if you can identify anything that looks similar. I hope that you find a remedy to clear it up soon.

WaitingInfl,

Do a search on herpes type rashes. There are many different kinds and one of them comes out on the skin.

Waiting in FL,

Sorry all you've gone through in the last year. Rashes are bummers!!! So...you think it's probably fungal...

All you've gone through, the waiting, and still not yet getting to the bottom of things--frustrating.

I never had yeast infections until I was treated for Lyme with abx. After that I had them off and on for several years. I tried everything to no avail.

In January, I started using a product, "Yeast Ease (TM)", now I have no symptoms. It is the only product I have found that helped. "Yeast Ease (TM)" can be used in various ways--by mouth, topically, etc.

I've added a link to the website where I purchase it. This link is to the info page of the product I use. However, you will notice a tab to the left titled "Yeast Infections" for other products and details.

If you would like to know specifics how I use the product, feel free to send me an email.

Are they varying sizes or all about the same size. Do any of them look like they have a blackhead in the center? Do they turn into boils? Does putting a hot compress on them for an hour have any affect on them? Can you give me some more information.

Ovaltien,

Look in the thread titled, "New To Lyme?....Start Here!" I have a link in there with pictures of the EM rash.

Mostly my right arm is covered in rashes, bumps, some bleeding, some scabbed over and lots of scars. I have a few on my left arm and a few more on my back. I also had never had acne in my life. I've had 2 biopsies both negative for cancer and lupus.

Just last night I was googling information on candida and came across some pretty horrific rashes that were supposedly caused by candida. I'm sorry but I didn't save the sites. From what I'm learning candida is very difficult to get rid of and can be the cause of many various symptoms, some very severe. I think it's actually contributing to many of my own symptoms.

Anyway, I just received a bottle of Yeast East myself and am hoping it works as well for me.

Good luck.
