I am on my third week of bicillin injections and today I woke up with a soar throat, running nose, chills, and I feel kind of achey. The symptoms are not that bad, but I was wondering if this is a cold or if this is a type of herx reaction? Has anyone experienced this through their treatment?

It seems to me that most differ on their herx reactions. I know that each time I herx from one thing or another, it's a different experience.
The best advise I would have would be to do some things to help your body detox, as a herx reaction is almost always from toxins building up. In the thread at the top of the forum (New to Lyme? Start here) you will find a post thanks to Deejavu on what you need to detox - none of it hard to do or obtain.

Although, I do have to admit I am just getting over a cold I got from my Grandson. :)

Detoxing might help a cold go away faster too...

Razzle- Are you referring to dejavu's link to the Snowden protocol?

Not specifically, no. What I'm talking about is most symptoms from a cold are from the toxins and die-off from the immune system's attack on the cold, not from the cold virus/bacteria itself.

Take care,
