I am not really sure if I have Lymes or not, I do not see any rash (unless it is hidden somewhere like my scalp. Any ways, I am an avid fly fisherman and routinely walk along river bank and through trees.

For about 6 days now I have had almost constant medium to severe muscle cramping, stiffness and soreness and joint pain, stiffness and soreness that gets better with ibuprofen and seems to be all over and move around. It is getting worse. I also seem to have a headache that moves around as well. And I go from hot to cold to hot to cold. I am tired as all can be and honestly just want to sleep but the muscle and joint junk make it very hard.

Anyways, I am not sure if I should go in or just wait until next week to see if it gets better. We do not have a Lyme Literate Doctor around here, and I just went through all of this last summer with my husband (3 different doctors who were not help at all).

Any advice, suggestions or recommendations for a good doctor in the Twin Cities metro area of MN would be wonderful!

Hi jgislermn,

Welcome to the forum:) It is very hard to say whether we think you have lyme or not since those symptoms could also be from other diseases. The best thing to do is try to get a Lyme test through Igenex and find a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor so that they can put all the pieces together since you did not see a tick. You will also want to read everything you can about Lyme Disease so that you are familiar with everything this disease does and what you have to do to get better.

Here is a link you can start reading to get yourself familiar with this Disease:
