On June 15th I had my Gallbladder removed. Yesterday at my follow up with the surgeon he mentioned that the only other pateint he recently did a Gallbladder removal on because of Biliary Dyskinesia was also a Lyme patient. He mentioned this because Biliary Dyskineasia is fairly rare. FYI Biliary Dyskinesia means the Gallbladder stops functioning. Anyone else have Gallbladder issues?
MEDS: Biaxxin, Plaquenil, Spectracef, Neurontin, Celebrex, Restoril, Nortryptiline, Time release melatonin, Welcol. (I've done many other meds in last few years I just can't remember them).
IV Cipro and Flagyl during 3 day hospital stayfor Gallbladder pain. Also sent home with 3 days worth of oral Cipro anf Flaygl. They said Cipro and Flagyl was for inflamed Diverticulitis. I think some Dr. at hospital knew what ABX Lyme patients needed. This was my first admittance at this hospital. Everyone seemed knowledgable and sympathetic regarding Lyme Disease.
Oxycodone for post surgery pain.
Silymarin, Cats Claw, OmegaFish Oil,
Lyme symptome started in 8/2004 while I was working in a State Park. Lyme finally diagnosed by LLMD in Dec. 2006. Still being treated by oral abx.
