Although I have only had 2 appts with my new doc, I can definitely tell a difference!!
I am far from being healed, but progress is progress!

My new doc has me taking a homeopathic treatment for adrenal fatigue (she believes that I was very close to adrenal exhaustion shocked). I have now been taking that for almost two weeks & I feel like I am no longer on a slippery slope with shear exhaustion. I was getting waaaayyy too close to being bedridden - again.

I am taking approx. 4 grams (broken into 3 doses) of powdered ginger root, which helps just gobs & gobs of things that I have just "lived" with!!! smilewinkgrin

I am also now doing a gentle liver flush, which consists of mainly OJ & garlic, with some lemon juice & olive oil as well - ICK!! smhair One things for sure!! I will never look at OJ the same again!!!

Doing these things & having acupuncture done has finally got me to the point where just doing "only what's absolutely necessary" is not all that I can do. I'm not out doing jumping jacks, or chasing my terriers around the house - but every day is not a complete struggle!!!

Traveler, that sounds great.

what is the OJ liver flush.

I am back to getting the liver gallbladder migrane syndrome again and it does me in for 3 days.

accupunture is so good for me I actually thought of getting a box of needles today and hitting a few key points myself.
the nearest accupunturist is over an hour to get to and I'm out of money.
are they burning the MOXY?

good luck and it nice to hear progress..you sound good

Traveler - What encouraging news to all of us who are or have been in a place where getting through the day doing only what is absolutely necessary is the norm. It sounds like you are on the path to getting your life back. Very happy for your progress and sending wishes for its continuance.

Thanks everyone!!
It's been a really long haul for me & I am encouraged. All of your responses have encouraged me even more!!! Thank you!!

Bucci-
I'm not sure where she got the 'recipe' for the OJ liver flush, but I am trusting her for now on all things. Like I said though - it has changed the way I look at OJ!!!

My acu doc told me on my last visit that I was dealing with the whole liver-gallbladder syndrome, and well as something with my spleen. Geezzzz!! there is sooooo much to take in when in her office!!! She is trying to explain things as we go along .... ah well, y'all understand!!! No memory capacity!!

I FULLY understand the position you are in with trying to find an acu doc!! I was to that point as well, but chickened out because of the brain fog & figured I'd end up treating myself for everything but what I really needed the treatment for!!! I did start to try to figure out the acupressure points, although I didn't get far with that.

Have you used the 'search for a doc' that is on a lot of the acu sites? That's not how I found this acu doc, we live in too much of a rural (I mean extremely rural!!) area for a lot of those to be helpful - we found her by accident. I have to travel just over an hour to get to her, but that's not bad for this area. The closest Western medicine doc is a minimum of 45 minutes away & hubby does the driving for me, otherwise, at this point in time I wouldn't be able to get there on a regular basis.

This acu doc seems to really like to use MOXA, but she has yet to use it during one of my treatments, although she has used it during hubby's treatment - but he's in there for a lot different reason than I am.

I was hoping that this might serve as an encouragement for those that have been suffering for years & nothing seeming to be able to help.
