I was wondering too what caused her death.  I felt really freaked out when I read she had passed away.  I hate seeing someone so young go so soon.

It is very scary...because we all are inflicted with lyme.  I don't want to die from this disease...the thought just makes me shiver.  Especially when this disease causes so much anxiety and paranoia.

After reading Jennifer's final posts, I've been assuming, probably wrongly, that she took her own life.

I don't know which scenario scares me more.....Lyme causing such severe depression that it could lead her to such drastic action, or Lyme inflicting such terrible physical damage that it could cause her demise at the young age of 46.

It's just so incredibly tragic either way.....it makes me shiver too. I can't stop thinking about her, which is good in a way because it reminds me to pray for her family, but it can also be bad because it just adds to my current depression about my own health, finances, etc., etc.

I am comforted a little by the thought that her struggles with Lyme disease are over....

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."

I've been thinking -- regardless of what directly ended her life, it was Lyme. Someone needs to pick up on this and let the CDC and those Drs out there know. I'm sorry, but this is significant news. I'm sick of reading 'Lyme never causes death.'

I have felt this way more than a couple of times -- it is both depression and something scary that takes over the mind that is difficult to fight. Would not take a much weaker body than mine to give into it. God bless her and keep her.

Thank you for the scripture, nasalady. It is appreciated.

I just found out yesterday and looked up her last post and kind of assumed....hate to say that but it looks that way to me.

Makes me sick...we became friends in 2007 as we both were Dr C's patients.

May she find peace. Everyone has their breaking point, even someone as strong as Jennifer. What a great sense of humor she had, always able to crack a joke even as sick as she was. She will be very missed. Prayers to her family and friends.

How terribly sad to hear this news. Jennifer always seemed to have a sense of humor in spite of her struggles. God Bless Her...
