Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I have had to help out with a few mini emergencies with a couple of friends.
I don't have a clue about
how accurate Canadian labs may be, but Igenix is supposed to be the most sensitive & the most accurate lab in the US for tick-borne illnesses.
You should start a new thread asking the entire membership this questions - but be prepared, there are many differing opinions on this subject!
As far as LLMD referrals go, you will need to ask for yourself as they need some pretty specific info from you - but, here are the only links I can come up with for you;
Lyme net - www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/
Lyme Disease Association - lymediseaseassociation.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=277&Itemid=74
Have you been to the Canlyme site yet? I don't know what your native language is or which language you prefer to deal with, but they do have a section that is in French - I believe this is so, as I don't speak French so I have absolutely no clue as to what is being said in those pages!!!
Here is a link to Canlyme - http://www.canlyme.com/[url]
There is one other thing you can do. Start a new thread here on Healing Well, stating where you are & asking if someone knows of a LLMD near your area. You should also add how close you are to the US border & what states in the US you would be willing to travel to in order to get treatment by a LLMD.
I sure do hope this helps you at least a little bit Slada.
Best of luck,
Even the mightiest oak tree was once a little nut who held it's ground!!!
May we all find peace along the journey to find healing.
