I had treatment yesterday, had IV edta, zithromax, hydro peroxide and lymph drainage. Today I had a day off and I feel horrible!!!! I have tons of anxiety, dizzy spells, disorientation, pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulders. I thought herxing is the day you get treatment not the day after. After I did my coffee enema, i started feeling really sick and nausea, and all the symptoms came on. I have been having treatment for 2 months in AZ and have to go home monday. I am very nervous to say the least, when do things turn around. I have been dealing with the worst of this disease for 7 years and want my life back so bad!!! I was really hoping this terrible panic and anxiety would be alot better by now!!

I am sorry to vent but I am having a very bad day!!

Liz

I hear ya. I had a simple shot of magnesium and started an antidepressant and having slept in two nights and am nauseous, sleeping all day when I get home from work. it is just brutal. I am also supposed to start IV zithro and am nervous about the herxing being able to get the kids off to school in the fall. Have you tried something for anxiety. I take xanax and it really makes a difference.

Hi Liz,
I am really sorry to hear about your issues. Hang in there.

Have you done a detox bath yet? How about a detox foot bath? I can't stress enough how important detoxing is. Your body needs help getting all of the die-off flushed out of your system.

Here is a link to a good article that explains how those toxins can be the primary reason for symptoms:

findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0ISW/is_285/ai_n19170382/?tag=content;col1

And, here's a little quote from that article;
" Fifty percent of the health restoration every Lyme sufferer seeks will come from effectively eliminating the toxins and reducing the sources of the toxins, i.e., bacteria and toxic lifestyle products. The other 50% of healing will revolve around restoring structure and function and optimal coherence within the body, mind, and spirit.

Research and clinical studies have determined that there are neuro-toxins released by the Borrelia burgdorferi (Bb) spirochete [Klinghardt 2002]. Neurotoxins are nerve poisons. These toxins, according to research, are the cause of most, if not all, the symptoms of Lyme disease. It is also believed that tissue damage is not caused by Lyme bacteria directly; in other words, the bacteria are not "eating" your tissues. It is the accumulation of Bb toxins in your body that is most likely responsible for the symptoms experienced by Lyme sufferers."

I hope this helps some!! :-)
