If there's anyone out there who has done Zhang's protocol please help me out here.  I am in desperate need of suggestions on how to deal with the horrific, overwhelming garlic smell from the Allicin from Zhang's protocol.  Before starting, I heard that it could be pretty bad but I thought I would just suck it up like everything else.  Well, it's only my first day and I'm not sure I can do this for even 1 week, no less 6-12 months.  I've only taken my first dose and it's much worse than I could have imagined.  I'm so isolated to begin with and was hoping I could start getting out more as treatment progresses but can't imagine even being around another person smelling like this.  I'm guessing that this is why many people are not responding to posts about Zhang's protocol....few even try it.

There's no way around it. That's one of the issues almost everyone who does this protocol complains about. But if you want to get well, and you feel this is the protocol that will help you do it, then you just need to hang in there and live with it. You can't be concerned about what you smell like and what others think, you just gotta do it and give it a chance. Garlic is a great "antibiotic" and has many benefits.

What made you chose this protocol over the other natural protocols?

jc27, I'm sorry you suffered with the horrific odor and did not reap any benefits. If I knew how bad the allicin really was I would have chosen another protocol but am holding onto hope and faith, for now anyway, that it will help me. If not, I will move onto to another treatment protocol. What choice do we really have but to keep trying?

Gary, Sorry I didn't respond to your question sooner but believe I just did in my e-mail to you. Thanks again.
