Hi everyone,
I have being reading the many positive posts from this site as well as others about the Hansa Center and Dr. Jernigan. After 14 months of antibiotics and little success I knew it was in my best interest to make some big changes in my treatment. I will be going to the center August 30th to September 10th. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome of this experience. I'm hopeful it will be very positive. I would be so grateful for any prayers during this time! Thanks!!

addsmom,

Thrilled to hear of your decision to go to the Hansa Center! I too was on abx and had no success. I was on them for five years and came very close to dying last December. I'm sure you read about that on the Hansa Center Update thread. Not everyone can handle abx for some reason or the other. Unfortunately, I was one of those who couldn't. I would have never dreamed of doing alternative medicine, but when death is knocking on your door, you begin to think of alternatives, especially if you want to live to see your grandkids grow up like I did (do).

Your last day at the Hansa Center is on my birthday. Your birthday gift for me is to get well! smilewinkgrin Rhonda and I will definitely be praying for you. God can do it!

If you have any questions feel free to email me or Rhonda and we'll be glad to answer and questions you might have.

Good night and God bless!

I hope you do well and look forward to hearing about your experience at the Hansa Center. How exciting to be taking this step towards becoming healthy. To me there is something very compellling about the natural approach to healing and the intensive, considered treatment offered at Hansa.

With visions of health,

Gary,
Thank you so much for your positive words! I was actually able to "handle" the antibiotics they just weren't doing much for me. It was time to make a big change in my treatment. I have a little 2 1/2 year old that I need to keep up with so its time I move on to something new! I emailed your wife a while back and she was very helpful in my decision to go to Kansas. I will email if I have any questions. Thanks so much for the prayers!

Rose,
I couldn't agree more. I will keep you updated with my visit. Take care!!

Don,
That is wonderful news about your daughter. I am so happy you found success with Dr. J. Thank you for the prayers as well. Can you email me your number? I would love to talk more about the center. ashliegilden@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Ashlie,

Being nervous is normal. Prior to my first visit there last January I too was very nervous about going to the Hansa Center. I was not too excited about it either since I knew this treatment was going to be a whole new approach to anything I had ever done before. The moment we walked in the door the welcome we got from everyone, including Dr. Jernigan who came out to the lobby to introduce himself, immediately put my wife and me at ease. I felt very comfortable there from that moment on. On our last day there it was like saying goodbye to family members. Each person who works there you can tell they truly do enjoy their work. They love working with people and they treat you like you're a member of their own family.

We just got back from a two day visit at the Hansa Center for some treatments. I plan to share more about my experience but it's kind of complicated so I'm having to think through it. I'll need to have my wife help me out because I'm not good at explaining all the technical stuff that went on during my two days of treatment from Dr. Jernigan. I can say this, the one test I had, called a CRT test, revealed that I have a serious infection in the bones of my jaw and teeth. It can potentially become a very serious problem if not attended to real soon. The amazing thing about this CRT test is the fact that I recently went to a regular dentist and after having x-rays of my teeth he said everything was fine except I have a small cavity. The truth is, everything is NOT fine, and because of the CRT test that I had Dr. Jernigan was able to find out what as causing some of the problems I've been having. The CRT is truly a powerful test that does what no MRI, Cat Scan or other X-ray equipment is capable of doing.

Here's something I copied and pasted to give you and idea what this amazing tool is capable of doing:

"CRT stands for Computerized Regulatory Thermography. It should not be confused with the thermograms used in the past that were not very precise and only looked superficially at the surface of the body. CRT is a FDA 510K-approved diagnostic medical device used to determine the efficiency of your regulatory system. It is able to locate disease processes in organs long before the laboratory tests or scanning images will show even a hint of a problem. It will also tell if the therapy you have been receiving is making a difference.

It has been used by over 1500 practitioners in Europe and is the considered state-of-the-art. Unlike many of the "testing" devices used by alternative care practitioners, CRT is objective and reproducible. The test will look at problems originating in the head, teeth, thyroid, lymph/thymus/immune, lungs, stomach and upper abdomen, liver, lower abdomen and colon, ovaries, testes, prostate, back, breast, kidney. It also will give an indication of the severity of the condition, if allergies are a consideration, if there is toxicity involved, and if there is degeneration involved. Every human has a specific pattern."

Anyway, I need to see a Biological Dentist. The closest one to us is about and hour and a half from where we live. I'm not worried about the distance, I'm worried about the seriousness of the infection and how far its spread. I'm also concerned about the cost involved because I know it won't be cheap. It very likely could cost thousands of dollars to take care of this, but if I don't, this infection could spread and do some serious damage to my heart and other organs in my body. Unfortunately, we don't have thousands of dollars to spend for this kind of treatment, so if it turns out that I have to have some extensive work done to resolve some of the issues that haven't been fully resolved yet, then I have no idea how we will afford to pay for this. At this point I cannot let that be a concern of mine. I have to take it a day at a time and trust God to take care of the financial aspects of this when that time comes. I'm just glad that I was able to leave the Hansa Center yesterday with some definite findings that could help me eventually get better.

Anyway, I got way off point here, but I just want to assure you, Ashlie, you are in good hands at the Hansa Center. Not only will you be treated by two of the most knowledgable doctors in the country, you'll be treated with dignity, respect and you feel loved by every person who works there. We are looking forward to hearing of your progress. Be assured that Rhonda (daisyrlb) and myself will be praying for you daily (and many other here are as well).

God bless and keep us posted (as you are able) on your journey to healing!

Gary, Sounds like you have jawbone cavitations which are healed over pockets of anerobic bacteria in the jawbone. I've had 8 surgeries to correct these and they're not fun. Close to 100% of root canaled teeth has this kind of damage and if not extracted properly, the infection festers. Because this is considered "surgery" and not necessarily "dental surgery" your medical health insurance might pay for it. Mine did at the time I had health insurance then when I no longer had it, of course the cost was out of pocket. I think the last two surgeries were $1,700 each. The first surgery was in Atlanta and the dentist used anesthesia and I knew nothing. The other surgeries have been done in Columbus, OH with just numbing. It was grueling but I think the job finally got done. Another term for this is NICO - neuralgia inducing cavitational osteonecrosis, although many of them do not produce any pain or symptoms whatsoever. They are a major source of problems and NO...normal dentists do not have a clue......
