Ok.... I am pulsing my abx and am on a 7-day off which I thought would be like a vacation.  Last abx was Friday night so this would be Day 4.  Sunday was a miserable dizzy day, yesterday was so-so...not really well but not really under the bed, actually did some light chores....I thought today would be even better.  I am really sick, weak and dizzy today....and discouraged.  So is it possible to be herxing even though I'm not on abx right now?  I am so terriby discouraged that this will never end.  I know it's just my fourth week and abx make me feel even worse, but I did have hopes of having 7 good days before going back on abx.  Yes, I know I'm whining, but isn't there a window where you can just take a break from herx????   I sat in the IR sauna last night at 85-90 for about 15 minutes, but didn't break a sweat and surely THAT wouldn't have caused it????  Don't know what I'd do without this site at this point....   Praying tomorrow will be better....

Mamyou, I'm wondering about your symptoms, especially the dizziness. My husband has that, too. Do you think you have sinus or ear congestion? He has had some luck clearing that up and it has helped with the dizziness and instability. The thing that worked best for him is singulair (hope I spelled that right). It has made a big difference for him. Also, if it is congestion, a neti pot could help. I have constant hissing and pressure in my ears that started last fall. I thought it was part of Lyme until I read recently here that some people get that as a side effect of mepron. So, even though this is your week off, maybe one of your meds has built up in your system and is causing some of this.

I feel for you with the sick, weak symptoms. It's so difficult to know what to do when I feel like that. Certainly don't want to do anything to make it worse, but what might help? I will share with you some of the things I do just because to me they make sense. First, I'm easy on myself because I think when my body is weak and feels sick that's not a time for me to push it. I also do gentle detox and cleansing because in my mind toxins are likely the cause. I don't want to do anything drastic about the toxins because it will make me worse. So, I do gentle things like catnip tea, marshmallow root tea, maybe a little red raspberry in the tea. I buy organic herbs in bulk and make my own tea bags. I also drink lots of clean water with lemon to help flush things out. I think you are on the right track with the IR sauna and I doubt your one session would have caused this; were you feeling fine before that session?

Have faith, I'm praying along with you, things will get better. I am now on day 8 of feeling good. This is the first day I don't feel terrific, but still it's good enough. We do get breaks. In my opinion, if I can ever feel good I have the potential to feel good all of the time. Just got to find the way there.

I have Lyme; it doesn't have me.

Hi Willowrose.... The dizziness is a weird sensation. Feels like pressure in my head and when it's the worst so is the nausea. I would bet it's one of the toxins vs. sinus but then I've been wrong before. Don't know what I'd do if I got hissing in my ears on top of everything else!! Have been drinking lots of lemon water today, did some easy chores to move a little--didn't sweat. I don't think I'll do the sauna this evening (can't say I was feeling 'fine' prior to getting into it last night, but I was certainly better than today!!) but will do a round of my 9v zapper while in front of tv. One of the problems is that I get frantic thinking this will never end and of course the anxiety then snowballs. I also don't know what co-infections I have but I do know I have a mercury problem. I am of the firm belief that when the body is working well, it will detox the metal itself...with a little help from supplements.

Where do you get your organic herbs in bulk?

Congratulations on Day 8 of feeling good. Maybe this will be your big break.... I certainly appreciate you and the entire group...What in the world did truly sick people do for support before computers and internet and groups such as these??? All the best....
