Hi all,

On the flip side of the coin I remember when I started getting better (this was from Dr. J's protocol), I actually became scared!  I had energy that I never had before and didn't know what to do with it, I had developed habits from being sick for so many years like sleeping most of the day and night and as I was getting better, I wasn't sleeping anymore..   One of the first things I did was open up a can of paint and I painted a wall, LOL!  I was sure proud of myself..

Thus getting better meant I had to readjust my habits, create positive habits and it was a whole new way of life for me..  Huge, huge adjustment!  It took me a long time to make the adjustment from being a "sick" person to a healthy one..

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I experienced?

Denise:
I've always had a lot of energy before getting sick, so I am not scared to have it back! I have had more energy than anyone else I have ever met! Put it this way, I was not just paint a wall, I was painting me whole house in one day and one night and did not need a nap the second day.

I am happy you are doing well. As for me, getting ALL my energy back is not in the back of my mind, and IF I won't get worse and stay the way things are, I will still not be extremelly unhappy. THE FEAR of getting worse is what scares me!

Hi Denise,
I am fairly new to this forum I have posted and all read alot. I was treated in AZ for 2 months doing alternative and natural therapies. I felt alittle bit better, but not where I would want to be. I bought a rife machine and did a treatment thurs, and herxed pretty bad. SO i have been in bed for the past 2 days. I do alot of detoxing, such as coffee enemas, epsom salt baths, drink ozonated water, lots of it, and have a infared sauna.

I would like to know more of Dr J's protocol. I went to his website and he has 3 protocols? Which one did you do? Where there any side effects to the herbs? I have been sick for 7 years and just dx'ed 2 months ago. I want my life back sooooo bad!!

What do you do to strengthen your immune system? Any supplements you using that are effective? Is it ok to take Vitamin d? I know this is off your topic, and cant wait till I can paint a fence. LOL Im lucky to do all this detoxing and even that wears me out!

Funny you should bring this up now, Deejavu!!!
The last two weeks I have been definitely been having a more stable energy supply & I have more energy as well!! I have been sooooo happy!! I agree that as your health improves it is an absolute must to make sure you start learning new behaviors & habits that are much healthier than we once held to - understand when we are asking too much from our bodies & making sure we eat as good as possible, making sure we drink plenty of water, detoxing & so on.

I have actually been on both sides of this fence - there was a time when I was nervous about getting better - just what it would mean for me - but NO LONGER!!!! I am having no trouble at all finding things to do so that I can gradually build up my activities!!

I say - it's HAPPY DANCE TIME!!! Giggle!!

I've been eyeballing my kitchen for a paint job as well!!
Even the mightiest oak tree was once a little nut who held it's ground!!!
May we all find peace along the journey to find healing.

Hi all,

Maybe I didn't express myself right..  When I was really sick it was almost like I was in a coma like state for 10 years and then I woke up as I became better..  And waking up after all those years was scary!  Hello World, I'm back!  So I needed to adjust to "real life" again...  Prior to getting sick I used to work anywhere from 50 to 70 hours a week..  I didn't have time to smell the roses.

I have lived alone for a very long time (still do) so I didn't have to cook dinner or do anything for anyone else except myself (and that was very difficult for me).. So I can't imagine what it's like for anyone who is bedridden and has a spouse and family...

Yes, I learned new habits (hey, I had to learn practically everything new as the world changed during my worse times except for my dirty carpets and I still had the same vacuum cleaner  wink ) and incorporate all my "new" health habits like the detox baths, eating healthy, etc.

Traveler, glad you are having so much energy, it feels great doesn't it?  Keep up the good work!

LizW, actually I didn't do any of those 3 protocols because they weren't available when I used Dr. J's protocol.  I had bought his original book (not available now) and in that book there was a "healing at home" protocol.    Dr. J. revised his original book and came out with a newer book so I suggest buying that book and reading it.  The only place I know that you can buy it is here:

I would also click around his website, lots of interesting information:

I never used a rife machine so I don't know much about that.  I basically took Borrelogen, Neuro-Antitox CNS/PNS botanicals (later on switching the Borrelogen to the Microbojen), detoxed like crazy (baths, foot baths, dry skin brushing, etc.), added my own supplements such as Green Vibrance, etc. and paid attention to my diet and stress levels.

Hope this helps,
Denise

I definitely know what you are talking about. My problem is one day i think I am on the right track and start to exercise to start a project adn the following week I am back to being wiped out. I often worry that I won't remember really who I was when I was well but then again I'm hoping that this experience will make me a better person.
