I was just curious how long after starting antibiotic treatment did you see improvements?

The first time, I was on abx, I saw improvement after 3 weeks. It did not last long. I was on abx only for 3 weeks. Symptoms had crippled in little by little within a couple of months and I am much worse this time. I have been on abx for 2 weeks and I feel no improvement so far. Some days I feel a lot worse than I did before I started treatement.  Time will tell...

I never got better on abx (took them off and on for five years). I'm one of those kinds of people that abx actually made me sicker. I finally got well on natural medicines and treatments (American Biological Medicines) from the Hansa Center. For more information you can read my "Hansa Center Update" thread.

Some people do get better using abx. I'm sure those who did will chime in and answer your question soon. The sooner you get abx treatment after the tick bite, the better your chances are of getting better with abx. If you were recently bitten (less that two months), and are being treated by a qualified LLMD, you should make some progress within three to four months, possibly longer. If you were bitten and infected several months, or years ago, it can be a very long time before you get better, but you might show improvement sooner. I pray things get better for you soon.

By the way, are you doing the detox baths? Very, very important! The toxins in your body from the abx and the die off need to come out of your body in order for you to get well. Abx by themselves will not make you better.

I started seeing improvement pretty quickly the first time I was given antibiotics (was on 30 days for a sinus infection...was surprised when it also helped my stomach).  The next time I got abx (for a skin infection), it took longer to start feeling a little better.  Probably because it wasn't the best kind of abx for Lyme.
I should note that I've been sick with Lyme symptoms for over 30 years, so it is likely I'll never be off of some kind of antibacterial support (abx or herbal).
