Hi, I took artemesinin for quite a while. It did bring on herxheimer reactions with each increase in dosage and when I was pulsing it. It was very helpful; I have made a good recovery.

I have done Artemesinin 2 ways both with 100mg caplets:

#1 - 3 pills 3 times a day for days 1-3, then 5 pills 3 times a day for day 4, then 3 pills 3 times a day for days 5-7. Then nothing for days 8-14. Then repeat. I did get a herx reaction from this, but not too terribly bad.

#2 - 2 days a week (for me Mondays and Tuesdays) 5 pills, 3 times a day. Every week. I get a slightly worse Herx from this and my mouth and EVERYTHING I drink and most of what I eat on Mondays and Tuesdays tastes like how wormwood sounds like it would taste, lol - pretty bitter.

I'm going to ask my naturopathic on Wednesday if there's anything that can be done about the taste.
