Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay on posting. It has taken me a bit longer than I thought just to get back into the groove of things and settle in and get unpacked and catch up from our two weeks we were gone. Also, my sweet little girl(2 1/2) was bitten by a tick this weekend. I have been very stressed by the whole situation so any prayers for her would be so so appreciated. She is seeing an llmd on Thursday and I sent the tick off to igenex for testing yesterday. We are taking every step we know to and pray that God will help us get through this. Thank goodness I now know what to do because 4 years ago I would have just pulled the tick out and moved on.

So an update about the HC...I feel for the most part that I am back where I started before I went and before the terrible herxing there for the first week and a half. However, I did have a really good day yesterday. Maybe its Dr. J's protocol or maybe its one of those random good days that I have that give me peace that I will beat this one day. Who knows?? But I will surely pay attention and see if they continue! I am going to a biological dentist on monday to take care of some throat, neck and jaw pain that I have that is very severe. I clench my teeth at night as well so that causes problems in its self. Dr. Jernigan recommended I do something called Oral System Balancing and that that alone should help correct some of my problems. We think that could be the thing that needs to be corrected before beating the lyme itself. So hopefully we will be one step closer in the right direction. I have heard that its a long slow expensive process. I will try and post next week on how that office visit went. Much love and good thoughts to everyone. WE WILL WIN THIS FIGHT!

Thanks ashlie for the update. I wish you were feeling better, but hopefully you're on your way to that. Are you continuing the protocol at home? Were they able to tell you everything they thought you were dealing with?

Prayers for your healing and for your daughter's continued good health.

Take care, diana

Hi Ashlie,

So good to hear from you!  Another member, Gary, also didn't feel great when he first returned home if I remember correctly (Gary or Rhonda, please correct me if I am wrong).

It does take time and the more you detox as well as taking the botanicals, the faster you will see results..

And so sorry about your daughter, I hope the tick that bit her is free of lyme bacteria..  If not, at least she has a Mom that knows what to do..

Keep us updated and hope you have more good days than bad.

Hugs,

Denise

Dear Ashlie,

Thank you so much for the update. Time does have a way of slipping by in the midst of life happening and especially when you're a young wife and mother. Girl, obviously you have your priorities right. Glad to see your post and read the latest, especially that yesterday was a really good day--remember that, and know--more of those really good days are coming...praying and believing yesterday is just the beginning!!

Sorry your little one was bit by a tick. She is blessed to have a mom that knows the proper procedure to remove a tick (that eliminates a lot of risk). I am praying the tick is negative for LD...period! May you continue to experience God's peace.

I can imagine the bummer for you and your family after reading others' posts of feeling better while a patient at the HC. Yet, just because a person doesn't feel better, as disappointing as that is, during their time at the HC (or any other doctor's office/or while starting a specific protocol) doesn't mean progress isn't being made. People return home, continue their protocol, and many do get better...especially as they follow through with other "issues" that need to be considered and addressed. I have learned so much, AND EXPERIENCED FIRST HAND, how the body, mind, and spirit are connected. It's like WOW, followed by duh...makes sense...that's the way God made us.

Look forward to your posts regarding your biological dentist appt. Praying that is a key element on your path to healing. Gary, too, is seeing a biological dentist. (Dr. K believes this is such a huge issue that he will not even see a person until they first have been to a dentist, have had all of the metal removed from their teeth, among other things...and to think he has a one year waiting list the last I heard.) Ashlie, I am praying specifically that addressing the throat, neck, and jaw pain will be a huge step closer in the right direction for you.

Also, I am with Denise on the detoxing...it is a must and makes a big difference.

Never give up hope. We ARE winners...that means you!

Love and hugs to you,
Rhonda
