Has anyone used a Biomat?

I have wondered about the biomat also.  The only thing I can tell you is that the mat is used at the Hansa Center in Wichita, Kansas, as part of the therapies they offer there.  When you get a massage there, you are lying on top of one of the mats.  Also, when having LUX therapy there, you are also lying on one.  I thought it felt great because it was warm and relaxing, but I cannot really tell you what all it does.  There is probably some info on the Hansa website or maybe ask your doc for info about it.   I did not know how much they cost----did you find a website for the company?  I wish I had an educated opinion about the mat, but I am not qualified to give one.  I have no idea if they are worth it, but I can tell you it is more comfortable than being in the infrared sauna.  That is why I was considering looking into getting one.  It seems people like the positive effects they get from using infrared waves but I am not a fan of saunas even though many individuals love them.

Hi bablymers mom! Sorry I didn't respond sooner but I haven't been on-line much lately.

I also considered getting a sauna but many days I can't even get out of bed so that's why my internist thought this might be a solution for me. It can be used while laying in bed and on lower settings for longer periods when sleeping.

If you google Biomat you will find a few companies who sell them and describe what it does. I found one place that has a 30-day full refund policy (healingartsgarden) and I'm just trying to figure out how I can pay for it.

If I do go ahead and get it, I'll make sure to let everyone know if it helps or not.

I just went to the website; that's interesting. It wasn't clear tome, does this serve the same function as an IR sauna? If it's used at Hansa, I'm thinking the EMF level is acceptable, but I'd still want to know about that. I look forward to hearing more about this.

Hi All .. I have the Richway Bio Mat and I love it .. It has helped me in alot of ways .. After buying mine I found a massage therapist who uses one while giving massages and it is Amazing .... I feel so much better the day after I go to her and lay on the Bio Mat for an hour while getting a massage.. I had to start out real slow on the Mat so it didnt make me sicker ... after a few weeks of laying on it on a low setting I slowly started to increase the setting and now I do fine on it :)

Did you use it every day?
I dont trust most of the people with such glowing reviews cause apparently if you buy one you can automatically become a distributor...
which all just become some pyramid scheme in my mind.
this is just too much money to gamble with on a magical mat...
I would actually buy one if we could get a lot of real people's experiences, and with
prayingforamiracle, i tend to believe you rather than people who say it cures everything.
im scared to purchase things that dont deliver, i cant even count how many stupid vitamins and stuff i have bought over my whole life and none of them made any kind of noticable effect

does everyone who buys this thing get rewarded for their glowing reviews?

I bought one a couple of years ago. I didn't notice any relief from the lyme symptoms I had at the

time. In fact, during the time I was using the Biomat additional symptoms appeared. 

I did read somewhere online that particular types of infrared light

may in fact aggravate particular infections, and can hurt rather than help those with particular lyme strains and

co-infections. On the other hand it may inhibit other bacteria - lyme strains, co-infections. So, it may help some, and

not others. I eventually sold mine to a family member who was having back problems, she eventually sold it also, having decided it wasn't really helping her.

I will say it made a nice bed warmer for cold winter nights, though an expensive one.  

Hi. I have a friend that got the biomat last year because she was diagnosed with breast cancer and she also had Lyme disease symptoms that were so severe she was confined to her bed.
He had used one in a health spa and it was the only time she had any relief from pain. She has been using it since last June and he doctor is so impressed that he just purchased it for his office so his patients could use it.

She told me about it because I have toxic chemical exposure and have insomnia and was on ambien for over 17 years which made things worse and i can finally sleep. If you have any questions about how I use it let me know.

Has anyone used a Bio Mat along with a Reiki treatment?
I am considering buying one, but just can't a read on them. Some say the best thing ever ( distributors for Richway) and some say " Not so good" Thoughts if any.. thanks.

I forgot to mention that I know of a person who sandwiches herself between 2 of them and she feels it helps her a lot. Expensive to do it, though, unless you can get them used.

Thanks for the information. I am still not sold on them yet. They are very expensive and until I feel it is not a hoax, I will not invest the money. Reiki is a powerful and healing without the mat. The mat would just add comfort and I was hoping some of the items that they claim it does. I guess time will tell, thanks again.
