As some of you know from my postings, my doctor isn't a true LLMD, I call him my LLMD-In-Training and I'm his only lyme patient.  Makes it hard for me to juggle his learning curve and me not having insurance...but it's making me have to gather information.  My dream is to get insurance and be able to travel a distance to see a true LLMD for advance treatment.

But in the meantime, I have had the test for lyme from Igenex (I always spell this wrong????) and it was positive, however I have had no other tests.  Simela says she tested postive for other things as well as lyme so I know she's had other tests.  If I want to test for the co-infections including bacteria, fungus and virus, exactly which test and which labs are the best?  Is any one of them more important than the others?

Hi Mamyou!
I sooooo understand about the being able to make the drive to see a LLMD!!!

You did spell Igenex right!!!!! YEA!!! giggle

I have not had testing done from them (Igenex), but I would suggest that you do your co-infection testing through them as well. The have well-qualified staff that knows what they are looking for & what they are looking at!!! These two things are incredibly important when dealing with any of the tick-borne illnesses.

Best of luck to you!!
Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we will never cease to be amused!!!! :)
May we all find peace along the journey to find healing.
