For the last two days I have been getting new symptoms which are starting to really worry me, I am due to go and see an LLMD next week, this will be my first visit. But I was wondering if these symptoms sound like lyme or something else.

When I move my head from side to side, I can hear like a crackling sound, like rice crispies in a bowl of milk! I have also really started to twitch, it used to be the odd twitch here and there in my hand or foot, but now my legs are starting to twitch and jolt, my arms, and tonight my head started to twitch, my head jolts to one side, and also jolts back all by its self suddenly, it's really scarring me, is this a common for Lyme?

I'm getting very worried about all these new symptoms and how quickly this seems to be spreading, any help would be so gratefully received.

Wishing you all well

I had these symptoms -- i don't know whether they are particular to Lyme. They have gone away with treatment, so I hope that's the case for you, too. Good luck with your doctor's visit.

I have never had the' twitching /jolts' but have read many people with lyme do get these sensations/symptoms.
I have had all the 'noises' in my neck especially.

I have had a 'spasm' like twitch in the cheek bone area - that comes and goes.

My LLMD. did say to me - 'don't be scared by the 'odd' sensations - they won't harm you' - it did reassure me at the time.

HI Littlehutoon,
Unfortunately I also have those things going on & yes, they most certainly can be attributed to tick-borne infections. I used to have really bad muscle spasms - gave myself a black eye not just one time, but twice!! Hubby & our pups decided to stay waaayyy over on the other side of the bed!!

I would agree with Gorbybelle - I have had these sensations for a long while, and they do migrate around my body - but they have never seemed to damage anything permanently. I actually lost a lot of sensation in my fingers & hands for a few years & just assumed that there would be some lasting damage.

Fortunately though, I have recently been noticing some improvement, although I still have a lot of 'buzzing' going on in my hands.

It'll be a good thing when you get in to see your LLMD!!!

Hi All

Thank you for your replies.

Im interested to know more about vibrations and buzzing, I have heard a few people mention this, however although I have been twitching all over, I don't recall buzzing or vibrating sensations, does everyone get this or am I the only one that doesn't?

Best wishes

I don't believe that everyone get every symptom - man, that would be misery for everyone!!! With that being said, when I go through the check list of symptoms for tick-borne infections, the only symptoms I don't have are testicular pain & all of the heart issues! But I have been ill for a very long time.

Hopefully your new LLMD can gt you into the right treatment for you - soon.

Be sure to let us all know how your LLMD's visit goes!!!
