Testing negative for coinfections does not rule them out - the tests for coinfections can be falsely negative. I don't test positive for Bartonella, but all Lyme-Literate practitioners I have seen (2 LLMD's, 2 LLND's) agree that I have Bartonella based on my clinical picture (symptoms). Personally, I also believe that I have Anaphlasma, but I do not test positive and none of the LL-practioners I have seen know much about this particular coinfection.

I've had a SED rate >30 since 2005...sometimes it has gone as high as 102 (very high!)...I believe this to be due to inflammation caused by Lyme and/or Bartonella in my digestive system (I have inflammation in my esophagus, stomach and small intestine from Lyme/Bart).

Your Lyme WesternBlot is significant and if you haven't done so already, it would be good to consult with a Lyme-Literate practitioner for diagnosis and treatment (we aren't doctors here so we cannot diagnose you).

Your CD57 is actually higher than many on here, which is good. Mine is somewhere in the 20's (if I'm remembering right)...

I hope this helps...take care,
