Here is what she posted:

Hi just found this web site. I was misdiagnosed for at least 2 years. Just started antibiotics 6 weeks ago. I have a doctor that follows the Ilad process. I have a lot of head pressure, tremors, sleeplessness, dizzyness. I'm trying not to lose my job, and have to take a language class in order to stay in the country I'm in. I don't know if I can manage it, its a daily struggle and I just returned to work after 2 years. Its really a killer for me. I cry everyday it just seem endless.

Hi Lynn24, welcome!

I do understand....those sound just like the symptoms I had when I was first diagnosed. I'm so sorry that you are trying to deal with a new job and a new language at the same time though! All of that would be very stressful without being sick....doing it while you're sick sounds truly overwhelming! (((((((((hugs)))))))))

I'm so glad to hear you already have a LLMD and that you're on abx. It will get better, just hang in there. Kudos to you for what you've accomplished already!

We are here for you, this is a very supportive, knowledgeable group of people. Please come and vent or ask questions or come and share good news, whatever you need to do.

Take care....you will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Hi Lynn24!!
Welcome to our forum!! I am so sorry that you have a need to be here, but am sure glad you found us!! I am certain that you will find us to be a caring, understanding & helpful group!!!

This is such a complex infection, you need to learn as much as you can - even though it sounds like you have your hands quite full. It will help your healing when you understand what is happening, so that you can actually discuss your progress with your doc. A really great place to start reading is in the

thread at the top of the forum titled, "New to Lyme?...Start here!" as it is packed full of some good information & really helpful links that the members here put together to help those who are just starting to learn about these insidious infections.

Many of us here have been misdiagnosed for several years, some (like me) have been misdiagnosed for decades. There is still hope for a good outcome!!!

IMHO - you should start detoxing - daily - as soon as possible! There is a lot of great info on how to detox in the "New to Lyme" thread - but basically you most likely have everything you need already in your house! The daily dry skin brushing is really important as well as drinking lots of water. If you are not much of a water drinker, a little bit of lemon juice mixed in really helps.

The reason detoxing is so important is because when we take abx, they kill the bacteria, the bacteria 'put off' toxins when they die - including ammonia which can accumulate in the brain creating or amplifying any brain fog or cognitive issues

you may be experiencing. These toxins can also bring on more symptoms or create new ones through out your body. You
may need to start off very slowly, but we can help guide you through a lot of things here.

As we all get to know you, we will be better able to suggest things that might be able to make this easier on you!

Again, welcome to our place!!

Welcome Lynn, but sorry you need this forum though. The people here are incredibly helpful!

I second the "hugs" and the "read as much as you can". For me, in the beginning of my treatment, the more knowledge I gained the less anxious I was. We humans fear what we don't understand, so read as much as possible. But cut yourself some slack and realize you'll probably have to read things multiple times til you remember and understand. Brain fog really sucks but its not forever.

more hugs and prayer coming your way,
Lisa
