Hi Mongostar!
Welcome to our forum!! I sorry that you have a need to be here, but I am sure glad you found us !!! I'm sure you will find us to be caring, helpful and very understanding group!!

Am I understanding correctly that you have confirmed that you have Lyme Disease? Do you know if you have any other tick-borne infections?

There is a lot of really great info - including symptom lists, explanation of tests and some really great links for further reading - all in the thread at the top of our forum titled, "New to Lyme?....Start Here!".

You have mentioned only two symptoms, both of which can be symptoms of Lyme or another tick-borne infection, but are these your only symptoms?

We all look forward to getting to know you better through your posts, and maybe we can be even more help!!

Again, welcome to our forum!!

Hi mangostar,

Welcome to the forum! I do not have constant sweating under my arms, but I do have swollen glands there and on both sides of my neck. I have RA though and that's what the doctors are telling me causes it. I am sure that Lyme Disease can do this also because the bacteria embed themselves in different areas of our bodies. What other symptoms are you having?

there testing me for lyme this week, i know i tested postive for mycoplasma in march, iv had meningtis but was negative for eveything, just a equililitive ebstein barr, i have horrible fatigue, pain in the back of my head, and it itches as well, headaches all the time expecially if i do to much, i used to be nauseas all the time, now i just have soft stool alot and sometimes my skin feels hot to the touch, sometimes im freezing, i also have a white coated tongue and constant uti's. iv been taking zithromax but iv only been on it for a week untill i get my results, he did a western blot lyme igg igm. he said hes pretty sure i have it becuase all my symtoms started in the summer with slight headaches and vertigo and flu like symtoms, and just all went downhill from there, also i have a high heart rate to the point where my hands are shaking. so i dont know the zithromax is helping the headaches just a tad, so the doc said the exessive sweating could be due to the lyme. not night sweats tho. just lots of sweating during the day under my arms along with swollen lymph nodes. anyone with any of the same symptoms?
