Well..... (I am pausing). Everyone has a different definition of what a lyme literate medical doctor (LLMD) really is...
In my book a lyme literate doctor is one that has lots of knowledge about detoxing, is open-minded to alternative medicine (since many people now are soooo allergic to conventional antibiotics and their doctors screams herx, herx, herx because they have no clue to why their patient is feeling what they are feeling)..
I also believe a good doctor is open-minded to suggestions from their own patients since many lyme sufferers do their own research and enjoy sharing their research with their doctor... Is the doctor open-minded or does the doctor get defensive?
Years back, when I brought my research to doctors and he/she would get defensive, I walked out and never saw that doctor ever again... I was NOT going to pay a doctor money if I couldn't work with them..
Don't know if this helps or not,
It's all about
the Immune System mixed with Daily Detoxing and a dose of Positive Thinking!
