While I am feeling better overall, I started with groin pain back in March.  I thought it was a hernia and as it got worse, starting thinking ovarian cause I have a history of cysts.  Just got results of ultrasound, and every gynocologically is great.  Now, what the heck could this low groin and hip pain be?  Gyno suggested an xray of the hip and visit to the ortho.  I am thinking perhaps just a joint inflammation.  I had a knee ache for two months and then clear up and a horribly sore elbow that also cleared up.  Don't know what to do but can't believe the beautiful weather is here and I can finally get out walking and now I am in pain when I walk and don't want to make it worse.  Anyone have this???

I have hip pain but I have RA. Just keep an eye on it and if it continues jumping from joint to joint because that's what RA does. You could maybe have the start of Lyme Arthritis too. Make sure your LLMD knows what's going on.

I used to have cysts and the pain would feel like it was in my hip. You said that you had everything checked though. What about fibroids? Have you been checked for that?

Thanks so much. No cysts and small fibroids haven't grown any in 2 years so that's great. Does RA attack one joint at a time and then move on with that joint then totally fine? I am hoping it is just joint inflammation but with feeling better overall, a little surprised that the bacteria would settle so strongly in another joint enough to cause this much pain. Also, I used to say that this leg "didn't want to work sometimes" cause I would get up to walk and it would feel like it was popping out of the joint for a split second. however, there was no pain until now which is months later.

It could attack one joint at a time or multiple joints. It started in my fingers then moved to the rest of my body pretty quickly. But, everyone is different. Some complain of it jumping from joint to joint. And yes, it can feel like it is better, then it starts hurting again normally.

Just make sure your LLMD knows. I'd actually let my primary or internist know too. I hope it gets better and it neither RA or Lyme Arthritis.

Thanks Cajungirl. My jaw is aching so I'm thinking maybe my muscles are tight. Gonna take a bath tonight and drinking lots of water and upping magnesium see if it helps.
