Greetings,

I live in Middletown, RI, zip code 02842 (next to Newport). I think I have had Lyme (or a variant) for about 5 years now. I have been hiking in woods for many years and have suffered many tick bites. My dog has had confirmed Lyme twice.

I won't bore you all with symptoms and complaints, but mine certainly seem to mirror the lengthy lists that I see on various web sites.

Anyway, I am looking for a LLMD. Hopefully within an hour drive of my home, but at this point I am willing to travel farther. My local doctors have run standard blood tests and Lyme tests - all negative. According to them, I SHOULD be healthy, LOL! I am kinda hoping that someone might have some actual experience with a local LLMD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to participating on this forum. cool

I know of a great one about 3 and 1/2 hours from you. If you'd be interested in his information, you can email me at amandagrusch87@yahoo.com.

Well, I found a doc at Mass General in Boston. She got her MD from Harvard, and Lyme is one of her specialties. I will post here with my experiences after I see her and get tested.

Good luck
