Hey all,I haven't been on here in over a year and I've been doing so well seeing a Chiropractor, eating right, and herbal supplements but for some reason it's all come back. I think it's because I've been exercising 4 days a week, eating super super healthy and lost 20 lbs in the past 3 months, so I might be herxing. Anyway I've moved from PA to FL (Which has helped sooo much not being in the cold and the ups and downs of the weather there) so now I need an LLMD or just Lyme friendly Doc. I don't really want antibiotics but I need to make sure nothing else is going on. My Lymphnodes under both armpits are swollen and that concerns me.

Anyhoo.. any info would be great, Thanks!

Hi Jenn,

I'm sorry you are struggling again. Here is some info to help you find an LLMD in your area.

For information on finding a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, please email our long time member, Dan's Mother at:
phassan@optonline.net

If you'd like more doctor suggestions, you can email stephanie at: stephanie@turnthecorner.org You can also go to: www.turnthecorner.org/bod.htm if you want to learn a little bit more about Lyme Disease.

You can also go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link: www.lymediseaseassociation.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=277&Itemid=74

You will want to find an ILADS(International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is a great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey. www.ilads.org/lyme_disease/treatment_guidelines_clearing_ilads.html

Let me know what part of Florida you are in and I will help you out.

Do you have a FB account?  We have a very active private group of Florida Lyme people and we would love to have you join us for resources here in the state.

Send me a PM and we can go from there.  Welcome to Florida!

Jenn,

Sorry what you're going through.  Keep up the good work it is worth it.  After abx three times and relapses each time, I switched to a natural protocol.  That was about a year ago and I'm doing well.

The protocol is working, and it includes detoxing.  I believe the detoxing is making a world of difference.

Are you doing any detoxing?

FYI, I would love to move to Florida.  Weather.  Plus have 3 grandchildren there.  Not to mention the beach. smilewinkgrin

LOL, I should changed my name!! I am in Melbourne, FL. I will find the group on FB and join there too. Moving has done a world of good for me Lyme wise. Although it gets hot here, the temp is not up and down and it doesn't rain so much and the cold and rainy weather and the drastic ups and downs of it caused me so much pain.

Thanks for all the info so far!!
