That's horrible! I know that the stress of changing doctors is the last thing you probably need right now, but it might be worth considering if you're feeling so disrespected by your doctor. I've honestly bounced back and forth with my own doctor because sometimes I feel a bit disrespected/disregarded by her, although overall I've found her to be trustworthy and compassionate, but sometimes I think she views it too much like a job and not enough like what it is - a sick person she's supposed to be helping to get better! At the very least, I would suggest confronting your doctor about how you're feeling. It might not be a good match, unfortunately. You're in this for a while, though, and I don't want to see you suffering needlessly if your doctor isn't meeting your needs. You deserve thorough and precise care, and it doesn't sound like you're getting much of that.
I'm not 100% sure how all of these treatments work, exactly, but I'm pretty sure a certain dosage is required for antibiotics to do their work. I know it's tough to stick to your treatment plan perfectly - I slip up from time to time, or back off of this or that because I simply cannot tolerate it, but overall, if you're going to cut down your dosage just make sure it's to an acceptable amount, otherwise you could be taking all those antibiotics and not even getting the desired effect, which would be no good at all!
I'm sorry you're going through all of this - as if our symptoms and side effects weren't bad enough, we've got so much else to deal with! So frustrating!
