I too am terribly sorry for the situation that you are in. I know how tough things can get sometimes when you are so ill. Hang in there. Is it possible that he doesn't understand what's happening to him?
I came across a really great site not too long ago just for caregivers/spouses of those who are ill with Lyme. It's called Lyme Spouse. Here is a link for it:www.lymespouse.org/
. I would highly encourage you both to look over the site. It's even got it's own forum so your husband can express his feelings or ask questions of others who are in the same position as he has found himself in. It took a bit before my hubby was as understanding as he is now. They don't understand and usually all they want to do is to fix the situation and when they can't they get really frustrated.
I would highly encourage you to read through our "New to Lyme?...Start here!" thread that stays at the top of the forum, if you haven't already. It's packed full of relevant information, symptom lists and informative links that have been put together by our members here! Most of those who have read through it have said that it was very helpful!!
We also have a pretty good search function on this forum to help you narrow down your search for information from past posts. We must be our own health advocates now and the best thing to arm yourself with is knowledge about
our infections and the different ways to treat them!
Hang in there and know that you are not alone in this! You've just made friends with a whole bunch of people!!! LOL!
