Hi Emmy3 and others,
I have been totally well for 6 years (lyme and ehrlichia) without any relapses and I come back to this forum to help others because that's what I'm all about..
Talking about finding the right doctor was a huge, huge battle for me because I never found the right doctor.. So even though I didn't really want to back then, I did my own research and diagnosed myself by all my symptoms and the timeline when I first got really sick. Long story short, I found a doctor who sent my blood to IgeneX and sure enough, I was CDC positive for both.
I became well using alternative medicine along with lots of detoxing.. I had lost the use of my legs as well as severe leg pain, had joint pain practically everywhere, lyme rage, and the list goes on..
I strongly believe that people with any illness would benefit from reading books about their disease and educate themselves... I don't believe in listening to every word one's doctor may say.. I challenged many doctors and walked out of many of them. There is no cookie cutter treatment plan for lyme as everyone is different.. My motto is to give your protocol about 6 months and if you don't feel any improvement, then change protocols.. Goodness, I hope that doesn't sound like a speech! Duh!
Treehousemom, I'm so happy to hear that your daughter is making progress! Yahoo!!
Best to all,
Symptom-free for 6 years ~ used Dr. Jernigan's protocol.
Our bodies are wise as they can heal themselves, all one has to do is nourish them properly. Thus it's all about
the Immune System mixed with Daily Detoxing and a dose of Positive Thinking!
