Hi All,

Just received this message and wanted to share with everyone!

Today, Friday, April 13, 2012, Dr. Phil will feature Lyme Disease on his show. Please watch the show and spread the word far and wide! Dr. Phil's Senior Producer suffers from Chronic Lyme Disease, and she will be featured on his show, along with Brooke Landau, Weather Caster, and another Lyme patient. Physicians from both sides of the Lyme controversy are said to be featured as well.

This a huge step in furthering awareness of Chronic Lyme Disease! Click on the link below to watch a clip from the show. Even the clip contains an important message about Lyme Disease. Share it on your Facebook page if you have one; spread the word!

I am a little scared about this. I just hope they don't try to make it sound like we are all crazy. I hope the emphasis is on the actual disease...not that conventional docs think its in our head.

I guess any media is good though. Oy vey.

I agree with you Kali.
It has potential to do more harm than good especially if there are not any symptomatic lyme patients there. And there are SO many issues I think they are going to focus on lack of reliability of test. Will they focus on treatment? Failure of treatment? Failure to help patient somewhat control pain? I wish I had never gotten into this mess frankly.

I think the show was well done. I got a lil teared up people dealing with misdiagnosis for so many years. It is something we can all relate to. I dont think they made us seem crazy at all if anything the disbelievers seem crazy. I can't wait for the follow up.

Keep up the hope!!!!

I could not be MORE impressed.
Thank God for Dr. Phil. And the fact that he has an employee with it clinched the case..
Validation. And the former model is getting health care too cool!!

My son said no wonder the Dr. on the anti-lyme side chose not to come in person Lol.

I had the same question KaliDhi. You can see parts of it on the Dr. Phil site but doesn't look like you can watch the whole thing. Someone suggested to me to check Hulu - never used that before . . .

I thought the show was good. Of course, I cried, like I do whenever I watch something having to do with Lyme. I hope this helps bring Lyme to the forefront and takes the blinders off of some people.

The channel Oprah owns( I think it's called OWN )will have it on she always runs his shows. I would think you could watch it on the net too.. I think history was made today. I am also so glad they are going to help the girl who had been a model, who was using nitric oxide?? Can you imagine?

I looked Dr. Phil up on the net there are a LOT of comments on today's show now is a good time to tell the awful tale. Sorry about typos can't find glasses or don't want to look for them!!. Wasn't that anti-chronic doc on tape mean looking? I am scared of those people although I told one off the other day (to an extent, as capable as I am of telling someone off) Lol it was a good day. : )

Ok now I am dying to see it. Have to figure out how! Hopefully someone will put it on youtube...

Oh and yes nitric oxide actually kept me going for awhile. It is TERRIBLE for you but when you are in survival mode you do what you have to.
