So EVERYTHING I haven taken (from biofilm enzymes to RX and herbal antibiotics to Plaquenil) has caused me to herx. Usually it's just for a coulple of days and then it passes. I've been on the protocol for a while and am not currently expericing any herxes.

My dr. added in grapefruit extract, and I was surprised b/c it never made me herx. Does that means it's not working? Or have I possibly reached a point where a lot of bacteria have died since I'm not having anymore herx anyway? I've been treating for about 6 months with an herbal protocol though I've added in Amoxicillan several times for the bladder infections I keep having.

Thanks!

I didn't experience a herx with grapefruit seed extract, but it helped me out of a lull in my healing.

Some people take it in pretty high doses -- maybe you are just at lower dose.

Also, you might just be keeping up with the toxin production with your detox practice. As long as you are continuing to improve, you don't have to have a herx. In fact, there are plenty of healers who say that having a herx isn't necessary or desirable.

Hope you continue to improve!
