I find that different doctors say different things regarding the Lyme and Co meds. Here is my personal list. I am NOT a health professional, this is purely from various research.
Mepron and Zithromax
Mepron and Clindamycin
Malarone and Zithromax
Clindamycin and Quinine
Quinolones (cipro, levaquin, factive)
Drugs that have more than one purpose:
Plaquenil (raises the effectiveness of macrolides and works for cystic Lyme and FL1953).
Bactrim (Has the potential to hit babesia, bartonella and Lyme)
Rifampin (Bartonella and persistent Lyme)
Clindamycin (Babesia and Lyme)
Zithromax (Lyme and Babesia)
Tindamax (May work on all three forms of Lyme)
Probenecid (raises the potency of cephalosporins and penicillins)
Doxy (works on Erlichia, anaplasmosis and Lyme and may have mild antimalarial/babesia effect).
