HI Almost medfree!!
Thanks for stopping over here! Summer3 has given some very good advice! There are many reasons that the blood tests are so inaccurate, but the top one in my mind is that they only test for 4 or 5 strains and there are over 100 strains of Lyme in the US and 300 world wide!
Don't give up though! To find a LLMD We also have a pretty good search function on this forum to help you narrow down your search for information from past posts. We must be our own health advocates now and the best thing to arm yourself with is knowledge about
our infections and the different ways to treat them!
For information on finding a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, you can start a new thread here in the Lyme forum titled something like:"Looking for LLMD in the _______ area."
You can also email our long time member, Dan's Mother at:firstname.lastname@example.org

You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is another great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey. www.ilads.org/lyme_disease/treatment_guidelines_clearing_ilads.html
You might be pleasantly surprised to find out how many of your symptoms are from one of these infections!
