I am on day 16 of Cumanda/day 12 of Banderol/day 8 of Samento with each of those number of drops twice a day.  I will eventually be working up to 30 drops twice a day for each of them.  It seems the reactions that I've had so far have been relatively minimal, but they are definitely there.  I threw up on the first day of the Cumanda and then the first day of the Samento.  It seems like the Banderol makes me feel like my brain is too big for my head, but I don't have migraine headaches, only head pressure.  Sometimes I feel so lightheaded that someone could bounce my skull off pavement like a bouncy ball all day.  I've also experienced times where I seem to float in and out of reality.  Today I've started shaking - not like Parkinson's shaking, but more internal tremors.  They seem like they've really been helpful 90% of the time, especially with making me feel more energetic for longer periods.  I've had less congestion in my ears, nose, and throat too.

Has anyone else experienced any of these symptoms with these herbs?  This stuff is really scary when it comes on.  I'm so glad I've got my husband home with me for the weekend.

I haven't taken those herbs but I just wanted to point out that head pressure is a typical Babesia symptom. Do you get drenching night sweats or chills? That would be another common one with Babs. Quina is an herb from that line that treats that though I can't attest to its effectiveness. Artemisia seems to be the most popular herb for Babs but some people need meds such as Mepron, Malarone or Clindamycin to clear it.

ToddPaul,

I have not had night sweats or chills with any of these three herbs that I've been on; however, back in February when I was still able to sweat, I would be drenched in the middle of the night and would get chills at times throughout the day.  From February until the point I started taking these herbs in mid-June, I had lost my ability to sweat.  I would just heat up at the core and then be close to passing out because I couldn't sweat.  It seems like some processes are once again starting to clear in my body and I have experienced mild sweating in the last few days.

I have an appointment with my LLMD on Monday and he will be ordering the Igenex test to check for all the Lyme co-infections.  I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Babesia shows up.  Good to know that Clindamycin is an antibiotic used to treat it.  I will have to store that in my newly forming "knowledge base" about Lyme.  I know my dentist has prescribed Clindamycin in the past for a tooth infection and it worked fine for me without any allergic reactions.  I'm highly sensitive to many types of antibiotics.

Thank you for the info.  Have a great weekend!

Keep in mind that co-infection testing is very unreliable. That's why I never bothered to have it done. IGenex's Western Blot for Lyme is excellent though. Not everyone has good luck with it but for me I came up highly positive. The FISH test for Babesia is the most accurate so go with that one but even if you test negative you may have it.

You enjoy your weekend as well!
