I joined this forum after a bull's eye rash appeared on my thight, and just got the usual run around from a doc who failed to prescribe the normal two weeks ABX. Saying that's NOT Lyme!

That was alarming. I soon thereafter developed floaters and a stiff neck.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

That's as far as my Lyme got. I'm only posting to encourage others who have been bit.

Just be careful not to get bit again.

Actually, I pulled on off of my neck near my hair just last week. Hopefully, it wasn't on there too long.

Thanks for coming back and encouraging those who are still dealing with this illness. I take it that you are doing very well now? If so- then congratulations!!!

Good for you! You must be doing something right to keep your immune system up and functioning properly.

I find it interesting that some people emerge unscathed from these infections, while others have a struggle. There is so much for us still to learn.

Thank you for the encouragement.

Yes, the results were positive. Was bracing myself but beyond the floaters, plantar fascitiis and my neck starting to click, the doctors told me to relax. One of them said the things I had can just happen -- may not be related to Lyme Disease.

You can get well and go into remission if you are hurting. Keep trying and stay positive.

Although a bulls eye rash never 'just happen'. There's only one thing that causes a bulls eye rash and that's Lyme, as it's the skin form of the disease.

I agree. There should be no controversy with this disease.
