I have read many articles about
heavy metal chelation over the last several years. It seems to me that almost every chelation approach included a caution to remove the dental amalgams prior to undergoing chelation. There was one exception however. Cilantro used in combination with chlorella has been reported to not draw heavy metals from the amalgams. I've never seen any scientific studies either way. I personally have used Cilantro and Chlorella in a combination approach, and have found them to be very effective chelators.
Congratulations for thinking outside of the box! These kinds of considerations are increasingly becoming mainstream thought- even within the conventional professional medical paradigm. Dr. Oz has even featured these issues on his show. As recently as 5 years ago when my daughter's illness reached crisis level, these issues were considered much more "controversial" than they are today. Unfortunately some doctors still pooh pooh these issues to the harm of their patients.
When I chelated, I used ionic foot detox treatments to enhance the removal of heavy metals from my body. And yes, the FIR sauna is said to also promote the excretion of heavy metals from the body. If you chelate, be sure to do that! In my case, I did a parasite cleanse and took chlorella, then had my amalgams removed, then used the Cilantro and Chlorella chelation. I used the Ionic Foot Detox during the entire process. In your case, I would recommend to do the parasite cleanse first, then do the chelation. I would use the FIR during the entire time. The parasite cleanse will release heavy metals back into circulation, so you will want to facilitate their removal from your body, rather than to reabsorb and deposit them in your body.
Do your research and good luck with whatever you do!
