This is for those of you who don't visit his site. I think it's a very good one for us Lymies. I tend to not want a lot of fruit or grain any way, so it's easy for me to do and I was doing a diet close to that before I saw his pyramid. I just had to cut back on grain some. Hope it's helpful! :-)

Yes, very good!

I wish I could get wild Alaskan Salmon but I would have to order it online and I don't know what sites can be trusted.

Our bodies are wise as they can heal themselves, all one has to do is nourish them and detox daily. I come back to help others for others helped me when I was sick. Pay it forward! :-)

Salmon prices have gotten so high. We used to get it for about $10 a pound or less, but now we're lucky when we can get it under $20. That happened when it became a "health food." We occasionally get it cheaper, but not often enough. Not may restaurants serve it now since it's expensive for them to buy it and then up the price for serving it, so we never get it any more. Farmed fish is so oily from changing their feed, which isn't a species appropriate diet and makes their fat bad for us. I miss having it more often than we do.

Most everything costs more lately.. Seems every time I go food shopping the prices just keep getting higher and higher..   Lately I have been making bean soups, good for this cold weather!

True, especially when it's labeled organic. I need to start buying through Azure Standard again (a buying club). I used to belong to a co-op, but the person running it moved further away, so it wasn't as convenient. Azure has a drop point pretty close to us, so it's convenient.

I made a big pot of chili a few days ago that gave us 3 meals and gave me a break from cooking. We've had record breaking cold and snowy weather here, so the chili hit the spot. Maybe lentil soup is next. :)

Lots of chili and soups happening at my house too!! I kind of like the cold weather as it give me a break from time to time from cooking because of cooking in large quantities! :-)
