Samento and Cat's Claw are very similiar. Samento does not contain the tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids (TOAs) that are found in traditional Cat’s Claw. If you are self treating it's important to know these shouldn't be used at the same time. And, I don't mean taking them at different times of the day. I mean together at all. Use one in your protocol, or use the other.

I recently found out the hard way, extreeeeeeeme herxing, that using both is a no no. My llnd has me taking a mix that contains Cat's Claw. I took it upon myself and started up with my Samento trying to speed up getting rid of my hot flashes/night sweats. Boy, what a huge mistake.

Because there are so many new ppl stopping in I wanted to say something about this. No reason others go through what I went through if they don't have to.

Side note: Prior to getting treatment via my llnd I was using Samento and Banderol. When used consistently my hot flashes/night sweats actually stopped!
