Since you have the beans, but no grinder, if you felt ANY relief from the boiled whole beans, then I'd say what's the harm of using them whole?
Maybe just boil them longer? Maybe 20 min?
Or, do you have a friend, family, neighbor who would loan you their grinder for a few minutes so you can grind the beans and keep them in a air tight glass container in the fridge?
Also, I just research on the net and found if you have a blender you can use that to grind the beans.
